Pick NRG. They took advantage of the Enery Star program back when the government was offering major incentives for homeowners to go solar. The solar companies couldn't care less how the solar panels were installed. NRG was purchased by Spruce Power. Spruce doesn't have a Facebook page. If you make a search you will see "Spruce
Power Sucks: USA-Worst Solar Panel." Spruce has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced and The Better Business Bureau has succeded in forcing them to resolve one of my complaints against them. Look them up on Instagram @sprucepower.
The solar energy companies force you to sign a contract That gives them absolute approval over who will uninstall and reinstall your roof. You have 30 days after they approve, that's if you manage to reach someone in customer service. Once 30 days are up they start sending threatening emails about your "obligations under the solar agreement you signed. You have no say in the matter. You will not be able to resell your home unless the new homeowner agrees to take over your existing contract.
An entire business was created for solar energy Removal and Reinstall companies. I'm out tens of thousands of dollars. Solar panels definitely did NOT save me any money.
If your house has one hundred percent sun exposure during the day and you are willing to risk a leaky roof, shoddy workmanship and zero interest in you as a customer then by all means, go solar.

Who knows a company called Spruce Power? They do solar panels. Im buying a house with solar panels and owner said she owned outright but now they are asking me to sign an agreement that says its a 20 year agreement. Im assuming they dont own them at all but if anyone has experience with this let me know.
